Decided to pull down the Evo for a ride. Amazing how much a difference 4 lbs is on a road bike - felt light as a feather compared to the systemsix. Much more compliant, too, so my lower back was happy.

Stupid Reaville rd still "closed" - not even any rent-a-cops there today so thru again

Stopped on top the sourlands ridge for a pic - even I thought it was pretty humid out there. Also, lots of standing water on top usually means the sourland mountain preserve is a no-go.

On the way home, started bombing down the other side of Rainbow Hill and some old chump with no helmet was paperboying up the other side. Come on, man, it's not that steep

Day 12 was looking iffy, had a bunch of errands to do and then my phone was blaring all kinds of alerts. Got home, ate something, checked the weather radar and went for it. Figured I stick close to home and do some laps around the neighborhood. Five minutes out and I flatted on the Road bike, limped back to the house and opted for the mountain bike to get er done.

I took a break from work to get a road ride in before the rain. The supposed rain hasn’t come yet. At least the ride got done early.

Apparently, the rain clouds decided to sit on top of Bristol, PA and dumped a rumored 8" ...just heard my area (Croydon) got between 8 and 10". Major flooding in the lower elevations. Where I live, I'm actually about 25' above the creek/river level and it's a tidal area. Very rare for me to get water in my basement.
