I deeply apologize with the powers that be for my silly faux pas, I was overwhelmed by a longer than expected session of tree pruning that saw me once again on a ladder using my pole saw on a branch twice as big as the one that almost blinded me a few months ago with my wife yelling at me while pulling on a rope to direct the fall of said branch. This time the operation was a full success and did not cost several hundred dollars in prescription eyewear...but what really did it was an overdose of chili pistachios that really sank my spirit...but I bounced back. Check this out...

Day 11 at Six Mile Blue trail from Canal Road to South Middlebush and back. Not sure what happened to Strava but it ended up in auto pause and when I got back to Canal it still showed I was 1+ minute short so ride around in the parking lot. It actually took me close to 1:50+ to do the round trip with couple of stops to either walk the like over the bridge or up/down hill where I was not comfortable enough riding. Please let me know any trick to improve Strava tracking. I think it’s the straight line which is kind of strange

i think this is 8th ride in 20+ category.

Today almost didnt happen my insomnia kicked into high gear last night fueled by the anger of the stupid neighborhood kids banging on my garage door at 10pm and running away last night. Only this time I caught them.

got about 3.5 hours of sleep and woke up at around 530am to the rain forecast but I was committed to my first official gravel ride around bedminster with a few friends. We met up at 7AM right when the rain started. It was only bad for about 45 minutes and the temps were warm so I was never cold.

We zig zagged around bedminster and trump golf course and got in a decent ride - first real ride on gravel roads with the new bike. fun.

right around dinner time my AC failed in the house so I am hot and miserable most of the afternoon and evening. Got window units for the bedrooms hoping at least i can sleep. dont know if I will get in any riding tomorrow have to get this AC thing sorted out.
