I miss Brian Sipler's threads on MTBR. "Rip, I promise this is the last time I'll ask this" would be a thread title. Hysterical.

lin

One and the same. More info here.

Wow Norm, searching the link "Brian Sipler" was a PITA all over the interweb, with insipid posts on railroading, flyfishing, and computer geek boards as well. Unless "Brian Sipler" is just a generic nom de plume for an annoying poster. Makes macman look like small potatoes.

See JK, this is the kind of stuff that stretches the ability of people to listen to you. Too much blab. You take way too much bandwith and brainpower to deal with.

This place is supposed to be fun for us all, not a place where we dread trudging through tons of sludge of unnecessary, mindless drivel to get to posts that enlighten, make us think or give us an honest chuckle.

Please go to the sticky under First timers forum... here, I'll hand it to you:
http://www.mtbnj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4758

Read.
Learn.
Apply.
Repeat.

You can be an asset to this board and a lot of fun to be around, but if you continually stretch the limits and tolerances of this board, they will remove you and not even want you on their rides. I don't want to see that happen to you on yet another board.

So, my next step is to start a new thread in your honor.
Hopefully, if they don't toss me in the trash, you'll "get it" and become a valued member of our community.

Please don't, you will just encourage him to post more....

Starting to feel a bit like this?

r. u. talking to me [deniro voice]

as if i should feel bad if some folks don't want to cycle w/me

quotes

1. from previous bike club president

"you can't cycle w/everyone"

2. "don't feel bad rider a doesn't want to cycle w/you, you ain't missing nothing"

that being said, back in may, while co-leading a ride billed as "ro@d ride" i was helping a guy that got a flat with fat tires

after he patched the flat w/o taking rim off frame, i fell off bike whilst cletching my arrow bars.

  1. so why did elect to sweep that day?
  2. why did i ask rider a to go to location c, when he wanted location B?

did i have to spend 4 days unconscious in the hopital, cause of that guys freakin flat?

Now this is going to get trashed.
You missed the whole point.

It was all about cutting out blab not about choosing your riding mates.
You went off on yet another tangent that had nothing to do with either of the first two tangents in this thread.

So I guess I need to report myself.
Sigh.

To try and redirect this back to something useful -
For your first season racing go Cat 3/ beginner like everyone says, at least for a race or two until you see how you stack up. Don't go with high expectations! If you don't expect great results, you won't be disappointed, just go out with the intent to have a great ride.

If you want to pre register for and event do so at bikereg.com and use the drop down menus to find the H2H series.

Make sure to give your bike a thorough going over the day before the race so you don't lose time trying to get your skipping der. to hold a gear.

Have fun and good luck!

I was just ignoring you until now but seriously, wtf are you talking about. Helping a guy change a flat has nothing to do with you falling unless the guy was the one who took you out. And they are @ero bars!!!!!

say it ain't so

I for one will miss the little fellow I found it entertaining!

At this point I'm not sure if he's oblivious or a troll.
