Glad to hear you are okay? No chance of just fixing the car up. Sometime insurance gives you the chance to get a lump sum of money to repair the car or total it. I have seen people typically keep the car and have it repaired by a small repair shop that will do it for less than what the insurance company quotes. Airbags tend to be the $$$ in the repair bill though. If you are mechanically inclined you might be able to do some of the repairs yourself to save $$$.
Hey thanks!
I would love to keep this car, best one Ive had. I dont think keeping it and repairing it myself is an option, Im on the unemployment program and tight money looks at me and says "Damn!...now that some tight money! "
Plus, I dont know how messed up it is...this was my car last January with a little over 7k in damage and that was mostly the hood that took the brunt square on the nose...
So Im just hoping I can get back on the road asap
