Stephens State Park Conditions

Tree down on cooler trail, not that I think it gets a lot of traffic..Also be advised there are several spots on the trail have large gullies from water running down the trail.

Be super careful, tree down right after the landing on that little bonus jump line on Funyuns when you’re dropping into Trestle.

I wasn’t able to see it until landing, zero time to stop and you come in hot on these. Thought for sure I mangled my front wheel/snapped my head tube. All was well aside from a flat pedal to the shin keeping me from flying otb.

Too big to move on my own and too big for a silky. If you happen to be out with a group, should be able to get it done without a chainsaw.

Crap. Maybe I'll bring my saw for the first part of my ride tomorrow.

Got this and a smaller one further down Trestle cleared today with @ebarker9

Tree down on white trail by the sunset trail, its a widowmaker, snapped in half and still attached. It’s only a few feet away from the one that @chainsawer cleared a few weeks ago. I finished the go round that someone started for a temporary fix.

Howdy all. I’m good friends with Chainsawer and am also certified sawyer. While he’s still trying to get back on his bike he deployed me to clear some blow downs today. I don’t think I got all that have been reported on here recently but put a good dent in the park. See attached for the 9 I cleared. Look forward to continuing to work in Stephen’s. I’ll scroll back through this and see what’s remaining.

If you want to go out again next week, I can probably help if we can align our schedules.
