Sourlands Sunday

i'm not gonna make it on time. hopefully i'll see you at there. i'll probably ride/hike the gas line and pick a way down.

Great ride.

Thanks for the tour - and must say enjoyed the demonstration of some of the best skills i've seen in the last year of riding from all of you today. Although clearly a couple of people had 29 inch wheels which covered up some skills defficiences...

Thanks again,

Colin

11 riders in the group today and everyone kicked ass!

Hopefully the 1st timers enjoyed our little bicycle playground down here in central Jersey and found the trip worthwhile.

to add - considering there were 11 of us and some of the stuff most of you were doing it's pretty impressive (and testament to the group) that there were not injuries to persons or bikes.

What a blast!!! Thanks Pat for setting this up(Tom u missed a good one). Thanks Jeff for giving use a tour of that little Jem! Everyone rocked it today. Should have some good footage..

Thanks guys - what a blast..

And thank you Jeff for guiding and letting me know that I'm no longer in Denmark... I notice ;-)

I have a lot of good shots and video of you guys but no place to upload. I have them all on picassa, so whoever interested shoot me an email and I share with you...

Reach me at jodj@nnit.com

Enjoy rest of your Sunday

Awesome ride guys. I had no idea this place would be THAT good. Jeff, thanks again for the great tour. Definately going back here soon

Nice. I never see any other riders here. 11 bikes there at the same time is def not something you see every day.

I had a blast - thanks everyone. I haven't ridden with a large group of skilled riders like that in a long time. Would love to do it again.

What a great ride- need to hit some of that stuff a second and a third time.
Great rocks, jagged, wet, slimy roots, wet bridges, super rollers, 3 foot drops and the 7 foot rock wall ride. Great talented group of riders-lots of fun out there.
Here is some of the fun- ninja will have helmet cam footage-

Great vid's. Best ride in a long time everyone. I think I need to cut back on the f-bombs.:hmmm:

Sourlands - Wow!

<My 1st time there> What an awesome place! Pat thanks for organizing and Jeff thanks for leading. This was the most fun I've had on a bike all year. Definitely will go back for more...

Also it is remarkable how well a large group did in there. No flats, injuries, drama, etc.. Just an overall awesome time. Props to all the riders. Well done and good riding with ya.

Nice vids Craig. Good to see a few dabs from Ninja😀

You would have dabbed starting 300 yards into the ride until the end of the ride Wilks 🙂 Some of the slimiest rocks you can imagine, unfortunately the video doesn't do justice to actually being there and watching the whole group man up and try some insane lines, drops and re-routes. I know Ninja was suffering with his full face on which he directly blammed for a few dabs :hmmm:

His helmet cam footage might depict a better idea of the lines we were hitting, at sourlands every 30 yards is a new difficult challenge- place rocked- literally. Love to go back when its dry next time.

nice vids. wish i could have made it. just wasn't in the cards for me to get on my bike this weekend. i recognize many of those lines. i think around 5:45 - 5:50 on vid #1 is a drop i've been eyeing up for some time now. i just can't pull the trigger yet - it's mentally out of reach.

looks like my style ride tho - ride to a point and stop for the fun stuff. hopefully next time you guys head out i can make it.

conditions looked overall pretty good considering the rain we had.

jeff - nice work on the hardtail! its nice to know i'm not the only one out there with only half a squishy bike!
