So today we met up with Reggie Hammonds for the first snow ride of the year. Turned out to be a spectacular day and a first for both Reg and Pedals. If you followed my post from last year I probably rode more in the snow then any previous years, I hope this year will be as good as last...

was thinking of heading north to xc ski, but snow doesnt look that great. it could get better with colder temps.

We didn't get out until noon so some melting, snow fall was wet and i'm to lazy to shoot a pic out my window but the back deck rail had an easy 8" of snow...Our house is at a higher elevation then DP. Funny how at our house we get 8" and a mile down the rode and it's only 3-4"...X/C SKI did not happen...

You guys didn't ride with special spiked tires did you? I went snow riding today and aside from a couple of almost spills, did quite well with my regular tires.

Wow! Looks like you folks had a cool ride. It was so beautiful out today, sad I missed it. I did get to ride the snow shovel around the driveway though. I'm gonna throw my light on and crawl around the back yard a little tonight. woo!

I haven't used ghetto or store bought studded tires since doing salom snow racing a decade ago. Low low PSI is all it takes, only 1 time last year I could of used studs thats it...

Great time today. Had more fun than I thought I would have. Thanks again MattyB, Pedals, and Katie for another great day!!!!

looks like fun! down here in somerset we got snow, but not enough to ride in... it was just slush. i'm jealous!

the freeze/thaw days are here.

Looks fun. I have seen Pedals rockin some purple Fox pants in the past so these look pretty tame.

5" in Allamuchy...8" in wayway....ZERO snow in NYC! It's totally dry here. Is there any left?

Looks like a very fun day guys. Its still freeing temps from late evening to early half of the morning, so I am sure the ground is going to be pretty solid in the days to come and some good ole snow riding. I gotta see how CR and RU look like now.
