Post your BooBoo's

It was definitely at least that diameter. And heavy. Apparently It didn’t move much when I hit it. And the laws of motion and all seem to be true. Ask me how I know. ☹
Sorry to hear about your crash. Was probably similar to hitting a curb. Maybe @Patrick can draw a sketch of the physics?

why draw when this is probably 99% accurate

thanks google search.

Back home after 24 days of hospital/rehab facility. I'm still hoping to wake up from this nitemare. But it is what it is.
I have rehab 3 days a week, so that will help occupy some of the time. Looking forward to being able to pedal again.

Would really like to give those two guys that helped me over the fallen trees a big thanks. Whoever they are, Thank you!

That's going to turn putty colors!!
Yeah I think the purple phase is over and the yellow has started.

what I can’t show is the whole side of my left butt cheek looks the same color purple until halfway down my left outer thigh.

in general though none of those spots really hurt too bad anymore.

No picture but i had a new kind if biking boo boo today. Riding down a hill a bee of some kind (i assume) smacks off of my lower lip. Hurt right away and couldn't figure out how he stung me so fast. I was 20 min out from the car heading back anyway. By the time i got there my lip was huge and expanding to the side of my face. Im not allergic to bees but yellow jacket stings do swell for me (a little) not like this though. Drove to CVS bought Benadryl. Took 3 which of course knocked me out and I slept the whole afternoon. Swelling is mostly down but my face and lip are fairly angry with me lol. That couldnt have been your average bee/yellow jacket.

Looks like im gonna add Benadryl to the first aid stuff i carry.

@Fat Trout sorry to read this. Been seeing a lot of wasp/bee sting posts. I was stung on the lip in August. I’m allergic and ended up in the ER for the day (Yes, I carry an EpiPen). Now I’m a bit nervous anytime I hear a buzz in my ear.

Yikes. I dont blame you. Plus if i understand right those EpiPen's are crazy expensive. That would make me nervous too.

They are, but there are alternative auto injectors that are a lot cheaper (if not free through insurance) now.

You still have every right to be pissed off at Mylan for their practices gouging life saving interventions.

Heal up there @Fat Trout not the type of reward for doing the right stuff. Thanks for the clean up.
In the end no big deal compared to the rest of this thread. My wife got a laugh out of my new look and i got to blame the Benadryl a few times when i was caught not listening to her lol. I did learn a whole new respect for those like @Robin with serious alergic reactions who have to be on guard all the time.
