I was going to post a kegerator build but it turns out all I had to do was make a small 1-2" notch in the drip tray track to get this to fit in the fridge. I'll post a few pics later but not nearly as much work as I thought i'd need.

22 oz Bottles

Anyone interested in some bottles? I've got at least 25 I'm looking to get rid of. I've also got some caps I'll throw in if you want them.

So I decided to brew Russian Rivers Pliny the Elder a couple weeks ago. This is a homebrew recipe from the maker himself.

(CTZ stands for Columbus, Tomahawk and Zeus hops)

The amount of hops in this recipe is scary. Im racking this brew to secondary for its two stage dry hopping this weekend. The hydrometer sample I pulled had amazing hop aroma and flavor, with a huge presence of Simcoe and Centennial hops. I think this one is going to be real good. :drooling:

Hold please....

Can you save me some of that? I've been trying to get it for a while and never saw it in NJ. Would love to try your version.

J they're the big 22oz bottles. They're yours if you don't mind the size.

If you want regular sized bottles I can start saving them for ya.

Exactly what I need. I'm brewing a Tripel this winter and I want to bottle condition it to keep with the proper tradition of the style. I like the big bottles. Thanks Bill! A couple full ones will come back to you...

I am going to take a beer making class at the Brewers apprentice next week. I also just aquired a few components to get me started at home. Very excited!

Sweet, nice set up Fred! The folks at brewers apprentice are awesome. Pick up a copy of John Palmers "How to Brew" you'll be set. Let me know if you need anything my father in law tried brewing a few times an didn't really like it he'll probably unload his stuff.

Good to know man thanks! I picked up designing great beers. It seems a bit advanced but I am told its a must have. Ill take a look at the other as well.

I am looking forward to getting a hands on first experience at doing this with the help of a pro. I dont think I will be experimenting till later in the winter when the cross season is over. I can only focus on one thing at a time!

So Wobbegong-
How did the Halloween Black IPA turn out?
It looked just fantastic.
