I looked at them and Canyon, didn't want front suspension. Also, I was not thrilled with my last DTC bike. They make it very hard not to consider them with the value though...

Nah, she's happy I'm getting off my ass and riding a bit more. Now, the fact that I now need gravel bike accessories may be a problem 😎Hope you don’t get audited
clearance for at least 43c tires (more would be even better).
I'll end up on the road a bit so I am good with something smaller. Do you need to swap rims on most to get XC tires on them? This is a huge point of debate right now....I'd say something like a 45c is good for Bedminster where you're going to end up on the road plenty but having the option of running 2.2" XC tires is a baseline for me to consider a new gravel bike. Plenty of gravel warrants it.

Just run lighter XC rims for everything. I have Stan's Podiums on my Fuji and I'm running the 43 Panaracer Gravelking slicks, they measure out to around 45. Works fine on the gravel around Bedminster and roll good on the road also.I'll end up on the road a bit so I am good with something smaller. Do you need to swap rims on most to get XC tires on them?
