Wednesday.

Still a rest week. Easy commute into work. I missed all the rain and poop. I only rode in, not home, yay me!! February totals...

1,017.77 miles on the bike for the month and 67:18 hours, 25 rides. 338 miles in the GTI. That ratio changes dramatically once race season hits 🙁

I have a small "intro to dirt roads" ride happening this morning. I have a couple beginner guys that have never ridden that kinda stuff so I'm gonna give them a mini-tour, apparently in the rain. If you don't see me at work later send someone out to find us because we died.

Today is my wedding anniversary. I think it's been 14 years we've been married? Shit, I should make sure I have that right before tonight!! Because it falls on a weekday we're gonna postpone it until the weekend so we can go out and such sans children. Take her out somewhere fancy like Sonic, maybe even let her order some tater tots 😀

Finally got the sticker machine working 😉

I know it's silver but that was what was in there. Sort of a test run. If you like, LMK, can cut a couple out in black. Should look real dope but we'll have to figure the best way to get it on the wheel.

That's a 26" Sun hoop BTW.

Sick son!! The black will look super dope. I have a disc shape with a hole cut out of it that I can trace onto the decal and cut it to fit the hub. Then I think just spray the wheel with windex and squeegie like on a car?

Yeah, a black se7en logo is going to look crazy good on the build.

We could mod the image and have a cutout hole right in the center. That would be the most factory way to do it. And might be a good way to center it. But it would suck if it was too far off.

As far as applying on the wheel itself, I'm almost thinking pull the whole sticker off as one, stick it on the wheel and then pull the cut-outs once it's in place. I usually get it to transfer paper but with this size it might be better to skip the transfer paper.

But you've done big stickers on your race cars right? I'm sure it's the same.
 
It was good seeing you out there today Son. That was Fred, Chemgirl, and I giving you a Woop Woop. We should plan a ride together in the same direction some time.
 
Don, I'm gonna ask Pete at the shop what he thinks would be the best way. He's good at this kinda thing. Getting the circle in the center I think would be pretty hard. I'll work on making a paper template. 😀

Colin, I caught the Brew article on the FaceWorld, Steve posted it at some point today. Good read, that guy is nuts!!

Dusty, my wife loved her gift. I didn't get a red head. I did however get a new iPod and an iTunes gift card!!

Ben, I'm planning on heading out there again on monday if you guys want to come. I'm gonna do the 55-mile loop I posted the other day somewhere.

Thursday.

Dirt. Wet dirt!! Only Glenn came out this morning to ride, the rain may have scared folks off. Glenn took to the dirt very well and he's got some fitness so we went a little harder than I should have for a rest week. I'm gonna take the next couple days off the bike all together to make up for it.

I've also officially got a power device on my bike again. Now I can see how much I suck. I need to swap the parts build from Rusty back onto the Seven now that I have a fancy pair of wheels again. Maybe I'll do that tonight after work. Probably not though.

Nah man the shed is on the north side of the house. Burnt Mills is slightly south, but more West. I guess it depends if I sleep in my bed or on the kitchen table. If it's the latter, then I guess you'd be closer.
