I would highly suggest going over the rock garden of stage 5. Pumped to walk it.My son and I are heading up this afternoon. Should be there around 3:30. Hope to get stages 2, 3 & 4 and maybe some bits of other stuff.

I have one that I could loan you. I'm in Stroudsburg. PM me if you want to borrow it.I realize people will be scared of covid and all, but would anyone in northern nj possibly have a fox proframe or similar in L or XL that I could borrow for tomorrow? 1% chance, but still a chance.
Ya she crushed it today...All I can say is that @Meatball Mia is fast. And I am not.

If it makes you feel better, I didn’t get last place just because the kid before me forgot to time out for about a minute and a half. I rode past it as well and only lost about 15sec. In my opinion, the timing thing at the bottom of one stage was hideous. Right on a decline into mud.Brief recap? Let’s do it.
Due to life and family stuff I didn’t get a chance to preride. I’ve ridden Glen a number of times but none this year and of course the stages are always new. But whatevs, it’s on. I’ve also been kinda down on my riding lately so confidence and expectations were low. By way of preride I jumped off the soccer field tie wall a few times Saturday night.
Wasn’t sure what time to leave (parking is limited) but when I passed Utah on 80 I figured I’m good. Compared to my utter lack of preparation Utah has been aggressively plotting, scheming and practicing for this race. We noticed the road was dry towards PA and the radar looked promising so there was a chance for a dry race, which is nice.
Registered, got mildly chastised by the announcer for not pre riding (remind me to never raise my hand again) then did a little Maze warm up which didn’t help my nerves much. Made some gear changes and headed up with the boys.
The only stage of note was 3, where I chipped in too early and ran up on one of the U19 kids. They were in a pack so I figured they’d all be flying but, no. I told the kid it was my bad and to just ride and have fun instead of worrying about letting me past. I apologized at the bottom for crowding him and it was fine. The stages were vintage Glen, steep and loose with some flowy rock stuff mixed in.
Overall I felt pretty good and rode competently. I did stage 1 last, which is the rowdy jump line and it was really fun. Maybe if I’d started with that I’d have gotten stoked sooner but I didn’t feel ready for it in the morning. Met a bunch of new friends and ran into some familiar faces, kept it upright and had fun. Final result was 12th outta 23, not great but not embarrassing. I promise myself to actually prepare next time and see what happens.
Cheers!
I'm still waiting for my results 😕

as I was standing in line on stage 3 I just dropped my arm/wrist down to my hip and this cracked.....tried fixing it with tape but it was dead....So I rode down to the tent to let them know...They gave me a new chip so that I could finish the 2 stages I had left, however...since the chip was broken, the data was now only on the boxes out on the trees and they were going to get that yesterday, so no results until maybe today. So I only got the results for the 2 stages I did with the new chip...

sounds like the same spot that @graveyardman67 lost it too....I only remember a few bad spots yesterday and they usually surprised the hell out of me.Crashed on stage 1 in upper flat section right before the road crossing. I just came into to it fast and tucked the front. Didn’t even notice it was soft there until I was down. (Not hurt at all, just lost time)
I forgot that I took the spot insurance. Maybe I should go see the doc for my shoulder.....I should probably look into this....
usually the results and picture will go to this site and you will get an email that you have picturesWho were the photographers that were there?
I'd argue that if your chip didn't break you would have won. Congrats Utah!got my results....amazing...3 way tie for 3rd lol...unbelievable...2sec off the win.
