Identifying is the issue here right? Make them easier to be identified.

What about the state requiring blinking tail lights on all bikes that travel on public roads? Ebikers too cool for a light would be investigated easier. Violators with the light at least would be easier seen on the roads.

Why stop there? Make all road bikes require registration and lights. E-bike or otherwise... I'm honestly not 100% against the idea... and it might actually do some good towards drivers' hatred towards road bikers... and maybe it would cause more riders to actually follow road rules.

While I enjoy road riding, I've also spend a lot of time commuting on roads often used by road riders and I can totally understand why drivers can get so angry at bikers.

I just finished grant Peterson’s book. He claims that blinking lights cause target fixation. He says to only run solid lights.
