I suspect they’ll give up that idea quickly once they get inundated with people on (mostly unrecognizable) eBikes and the rent-a-cops get overwhelmed.

E-bike restrictions aside, I've been looking forward to this opening. Now I just have to figure out how to get there on the NJ side without riding on 29 or that gawd-forsaken tow path.

Read the sign - it says "driven motorized vehicles". So just walk your ebike across if you're afraid of getting nailed.

No, all the other bridges they rarely come out of their huts. The Washington crossing one the hut is 5’ from the sidewalk and those guys eventually told me to stop (which I did). The ones in Trenton, they have never said anything. New Hope is one not to mess with, they get you every time.
