Conditions?

Come on Dustin that's not how you were raised...😀

I know...we waited in the gravel lot where the hunters park for 2-3min. Then we thought he either said F this or somehow made a wrong turn. While we were riding I looked back a few times to make sure he was with it and he was just off Pearl's wheel every time.
Martin, Dustin is mr.chainsaw. I thought you were coming for the ride too yesterday...what happened? We fo sho would have shown you and your friend around and made it out with day light no problem. Next time try to make it if you want to have a sh*t ton of fun

Nah, just bustin man... It's great to see you out there killin it... You are on a good path... Keep up the good work :getsome:

I know man. I just feel bad cause maybe he thought it was a bad idea to holla for us to stop. Or maybe he did and Pearl/Madness said "screw him". Knowing that I am an angel and wouldn't like this they made it seem like he vanished into thin air.

The trails were at the almost too dry point yesterday imo. The weather was too good aswell. I miss the 43degrees and rainy/misty rides.

Dude. You need to yell son...you weren't far behind at all. We coulda fixed you up and made it out with sunlight to spare... Justin right? I believe I introduced James to you as "mandi's bitch"

No worries man I was able to fix it and continue on my way. Ended up doing the lolly and getting back to the 27 lot well before sundown anyway.

If I was really in trouble I would have yelled out for sure.

And the guys didn't "drop" me. I had told them I was going to tag along for a bit, knew I wasn't going to keep the pace up for the whole thing. It's only the third of fourth time I've ridden since like October so I have a long way to go with fitness.

Heading there now, hopefully no flats today

trails are perfect

Tubeless.

Just to let everyone know...I'm sitting at work looking at a generator that I just replaced to oil pan gasket on to stop a major leak (that worked), reinstalled the generator and now just noticed a hairline crack in the oil pan itself. WTF!!! So enjoy the trails and don't worry about me I'll be ok.

The 3 of us yesterday did the lolly pop loop in 1:36min at just shy of 11mph average.

1:36 for the lollipop is around a 9mph avg. 😉

Madness and his Cateye said 10.6 but I'm not sure if that was total time (cause I had to pee while putting air in my tires and we waited for dudeman 3min) or if it was rolling time...I didn't think to ask. And just shy of 11mph sounds waaaaay cooler the 10.6mph can I get a amen on that at least? I need a GPS amongst other things...I need I need I need no wonder I can't get a girl to hang out with me more then once. 🙁

Btw I just replaced the oil pan w/ a nice new gasket and I'm puting the shit box back together after lunch. No leaks have formed (cause its a good pan) and should be ready for install soon. I'm sure yous were on the edge of your seats wondering how I was doing.

i stopped at halters so i knew i couldn't make the 6pm start time...

i know my way around pretty good, my full loop time is under 2 hours and my goal by end of summer is to stick with the fast guys =]

just like vlkslvr i'm still getting my legs/lungs

hey Martin - I passed a group of 2 riders around 6ish. I was solo, riding a blue Mary. any chance was that you?

hmmm i got out there really late, i had a red rutgers shirt on...

i did see Eric the skinny guy with the full suspension and mitsu evo, i saw a guy come out with some nice lights with a bit of an accent at like 830pm

... will be my next upgrade.

Notice to all:
Maybe I'm the only dope that's done this, but be careful going into the Canal Rd parking lot with speed, I hit a build-up of loose gravel while turning and the front tire dug in, needless to say I was unexpectedly picking myself up off the ground while yelling "What the F!" and it put a little rip in my right grip. 😡

Anywho, did a full loop from 27 in 1:30.55. No shortcuts. That's the first full loop I've done with the new bike so I am pleased and the conditions are PERFECT.

ahhhh!!! i want 1.30 lap times!

i'm not getting this tubeless love fixation - you still need to carry a tube and pump if shit goes down... yah u can run lower pressures, but that means you can pinch flat it or slip it off the bead easier too....

You won't pinch plat because there is no tube. The sealing of the bead also doesn't have much to do with tire pressure after the initial install. The benefits of tuebless also because more apparent on rock terrain and in the snow.
