Totally agree. I don't think I've seen it this dry.
So much fun on the loose trails. Keeps you on your A game.

We did most of blue, but not the lowest trail, which is always wet. When I got to the far side, I went back up the hill on the crossover trail to avoid the lower blue. This is where I went: https://strava.app.link/DPW15GA4Y7

With the exception of two/three soft spots, lower blue was good.

Now all will be ruined tomorrow.

Not as bad as you think. In May CR is a swamp due to water table bubbling up. July the ground sets up like a rock and sheds water. Give it a day or two and it will be fine.

I’m here now. You wouldn’t even know it rained shockingly. GREEN LIGHT TO GO (I haven’t hit lower blue intentionally but everywhere else is dry).

i've got 2.4" on mine - couple miles away from CR
It came fast and furious tho.
and has been baking away with a breeze.

Surprisingly decent today, other than the crowds. Puddles, but no mud. Didn't do lower blue. my bike was no dirtier at the end of the ride than when I started.

I rode pretty much everything today; dry conditions continue throughout.
