Go Kirt!This was done by the rangers. It was an illegally built trail. That said, I thought we had come to a semi-agreement years ago that it would remain open as the alternative/original trail is really terrible. I let it be known that some would not be happy and remove the closure. I'm working on a solution here that will make most happy.
Agreed.Other than the giant tree down already mentioned, conditions were fucking awesome today.
One observation on the white/ponds loop: the wooden bridge is looking a bit sketchy now. One end of it is sinking into the dirt and I’m not sure if it has sufficient footing anymore.
It's on the radar and the county is aware. I believe Ranger Ryan is pushing to address it sooner than later.
