Rode this morning. Everything was great. Conditions will be even better this afternoon. Cromwell was feeling excellent.

This was done by the rangers. It was an illegally built trail. That said, I thought we had come to a semi-agreement years ago that it would remain open as the alternative/original trail is really terrible. I let it be known that some would not be happy and remove the closure. I'm working on a solution here that will make most happy.
Go Kirt!

It was good today.. very few puddles, the newest stuff was kind of soft and saw a few ruts from people digging in, but overall was good considering 2 days of rain.

One huge tree down on the ball field loop.

One observation on the white/ponds loop: the wooden bridge is looking a bit sketchy now. One end of it is sinking into the dirt and I’m not sure if it has sufficient footing anymore.

It's on the radar and the county is aware. I believe Ranger Ryan is pushing to address it sooner than later.

This is nice to hear. A couple of 16' 4x6 twinned into the current stringers would add some length. Alternate would be to pull it up and put in something to prevent it from sinking.

Ida and the following rains changed so many water crossings
