Chain Stretcher Course....

I didn't ride last years course but damn this was less climbing? I sucked from the first mile. I guess this is why so many bail on this race. Hills/tech + more hills/tech. From the course director himself "no roadie advantage here". The end of the course Yin will be the equalizer, this will make grown men cry for mommy.

Damn, now I wish I wasn't a roadie fag so I could do this race. It sounds intriguing.

That 40-50% chance of rain doesn't sound so good though.

Seems like this would be the perfect race course to make sure they do the marking of the legs like bulldog did at KVSP...don't ya think?

I Agree I still dont understand why its not common practice when you get your number plate mark my leg. Such a simple thing which goes a long way.

My take is all the fitness in the world will not get you a win, the one who has the best skillz wins. I predict locals to have an advantage IMOP. This is one of those courses where rocks need serial numbers memorized. Course captain said local pros are asking for 4 laps geesh that's just sick...

Too me this is one of the "easier" courses we have put forward. A lot of singletrack. It is the stuff you would ride if you came to ride on a non race weekend. We may or may not be the most technical course, but it will favor bike handlers vs people who can just spin the cranks.

It is a MTB race. Not a cycle cross or road event. I hope I hope all enjoy it. I ran into a lot of smiles today while marking the course.

Good luck to all.

+1, I think this is the best of Blue...flo wise.
It's Blue, even the easy trails offer some challenge, thats what makes this place so much fun.

Easily the most challenging course of the H2H races--- But I Loved it !!! Be careful and good luck everyone !! :getsome:

It is interesting who thinks what is easier. Either way, I love bike handling courses. I get to think about riding and not how bad it hurts. I think it will be a fun course, probably challenging too. I only pre-rode one lap and plan to savor some of the fun on Sunday!

Chance of rain percent down to 30% and after 4:00. Could be a fabulous day!
🙂🙂🙂
