Car-spotting thread

@Dingo

So when I got it home friday night, I cracked open the float level port on the primary side and fuel was GUSHING out....so yesterday first thing I did was start by setting the bowl height, but I decided to take the needles out and inspect them....Glad I did, the o-rings were damaged and im pretty sure fuel was leaking past them. I put 2 new needles in, set the floats...and boom, running nice now.

My son just cracks me up bc I remember my dad doing this with me......except I got to sit in the front seat..no seat belts....god I used to get to ride on his lap and steer now that I think about it.

Took bob to a car show at the hot rod farm in montville yesterday. Some cool stuff.

this 69 was pretty wild

not sure if this was a real boss 302, but it certainly looked it with alot of the little details...probably one of my favorite mustangs....although I like the 69s a little better

I had no idea power wagons had two frames connected by an articulating joint in the middle, I should have got a better picture of this but bob was running all over

That video with your son just made my day and it’s barely sunrise. Very cool.

Not always true... I knew a guy in kinnelon that had a real one. Original owner too, he drove it most weekends.
Is it a real original as in built in the 60s or is a newer Shelby remake? Both get called real but one is worth like 150k vs several million

I have only ever seen real, built in the 60s cobras at museums and a couple very high end car shows
