Car-spotting thread

Just add the lic plate of the seldom used car on your ezpass acct. No fine, no need for the transponder in the car.

I added my Dad’s license plate to mine. He’s welcome.
I've done that. Though my tags are from NY Ezpass which could be the reason why I get Tix from time to time in NJ when they miss a scan

Nah man, only electric boats!

Was just looking at this.

Put a 60hp 4-stroke outboard on the boat last year. ended up costing about $15k installed -
comparable battery version $25k not installed. And i'm not so sure about mixing electricity and water like that.....

Would consider it for stern-drive tho.

Why do they track test cars without putting them both on the same tires? With Cup tires, of the course the Porsche is going to “feel better”. No one likes the “feel” of over-heated street tires on a 500hp car. The difference between race compound and street compound is huge. It changes the ride, feel, steering, everything, especially on a 90 degree day. I can tell you from my track days on the bike, race compound vs. street was the difference between controlled slides and darkies on corner exits or taking your bike (and yourself) home in pieces in the back of the truck. Despite all of the that, the new Vette was still faster than a car Porsche has been refining since 1997, and one of their GT cars no less.

Plus still only "won" by one "point".

That is a good point, tires make a huge difference. Even the michelin pilot ss tires on my gt350, driving on brand new tires after the previous set at 20K miles really felt different - back on rails again.
