can i ride allaire??

I think the dome is being retrofitted for the Tuesday night rides..come on out in the spring..
but as we did not get any rain this week I guess it is still in place 🙂

The trails will be swinging back and forth, from frozen to slop on top of frozen, as temperatures go up in the late morning.

I rode allaire early this morning. It was awesome! Ground has dried up a lil and most of it was frozen. Tomorrow and sunday are going to be the best days this week.

I will be heading out at 07:00 Saturday for a loop as long as we do not get too much of a thaw. this will be a no-drop loop Black TJ with jorba stickers in the main lot.if we run into a bad rain or thaw where we will leave ruts the ride will be off.

Did a quick 4 miles this morning. Was a great ride. Monmouth county is supposibly getting 4 or 5 inches less than ocean county. But i guess mother nature is going to decide that one. Do people ride allaire when its full of snow?

I love riding Allaire in the snow. although after 5 inches or so it gets difficult.

I'm hearing so many mixed reports right now. If it's under 5 inches in the morning I may be there.

Looks like to me the strong part of it could miss us:

South will get hit more than North likely. I'm gonna try riding in Long Island in the AM tomorrow. Forecast for my town up here North currently is 1-2inches tonight and 1-2inches tomorrow morning.

EDIT: oops .. I thought the blue part just meant cloudy .. lol .. it means snow .. according to radar, all of NJ is already covered in light snow, but I don't see any snow outside my window?

well, I'm 2 miles from Allaire and it aint snowing yet. If I keep polishing off these beers though, there is a chance I might not make it whether there's significant snow or not, we'll see. :drooling:

No snow yet. I have the bike inthe car ready to go stupid early for the dry fluffy snow. Keeping optomistic...

I'm six miles from Allaire, though I am at the shore so any weather tips from me are just for reference. It's around 1230am and the snow is still light. I'll be up at 0730 to watch the Merseyside derby and I'll post an update then.

Hah im down in ocean county. Its a complete white out right now. Theres at least a foot of snow with drifts of two to three feet every where. Id imagine its to nasty out to ride today. Id say tomorrow or monday is a better bet for snow riding.

My gf lives in howell and its the same as here also.
