BIYF - 2021/2022 - No Frills

Sunday 1/2

Kinda dreary, late start for the gravel roads to drain out a bit.

Alright kids. Scorecard is updated to now.

12/27 and prior is now closed.

Some notes, awesome week @bigW - wow!

Exclusions - Several posts had no photo, so they don’t count

There was a post that self admitted to riding muddy trails, this was not counted as it broke the rules.

It is very wet out there, I know we are trying to ride but watch the trail conditions. Going forward, if you violate this you lose your week in points or ten hours time, whichever is greater. - I hope to not have to enforce this as we all know better.

Snow was called to start 6am and 3-5 inches. Knowing that forecasters historically have missed the mark, I sat and waited for it. Charlie Munger said something like, “admit your mistakes and do it quickly”. What a fool I played today🤓! I eventually got out and did it for the tamales so we gucci!!

A really cool maintained house. Camera does it no justice.

Yup, thanks.

Rolling along stopped cars and someone from the other side quickly cut across. We saw each other when approx four feet apart, both veered away and smashed the brakes on. Unfortunately for me the back wheel came off the ground up and over. One of the lightest landings I’ve ever had, rolled back onto my feet and the bike was upside down on the bars and seat. Very happy to not fallen directly in front of car nor landed on his new looking hood…

All the stopped cars folks looked like they were getting ready to call 911 before i gave the thumbs-up. 😬
any chance it was on forrest ave? that road is a mine field! glad you're ok

That it is. I was looking for a solution for winter washing, since I can't use a hose when it's around freezing out. My initial impression is that it does the job well for road grit and I expect that it would do a good job with mud. It will also come in handy on MTB trips when there isn't a hose handy, since it has the ability to draw water from a bucket or a bottle. I already have a bunch of Ryobi 18v batteries, so getting that brand of portable pressure washer made the most sense.

damn if you guys arent really bad for my Amazon addiction.
