Back in the game after a long holiday weekend with my brother's family in Columbus. I'm on call again this week, but it's pretty easy to stay within 15ish minutes of the car at Wildcat if you know what you're doing.

Wait, mini cordless power washer? I want a review and details please!
That it is. I was looking for a solution for winter washing, since I can't use a hose when it's around freezing out. My initial impression is that it does the job well for road grit and I expect that it would do a good job with mud. It will also come in handy on MTB trips when there isn't a hose handy, since it has the ability to draw water from a bucket or a bottle. I already have a bunch of Ryobi 18v batteries, so getting that brand of portable pressure washer made the most sense.

FYI - Lowes in Staten Island had the Kobalt 40V power cleaner on clearance for $15 yesterday, but it looks like that deal is dead. However it's still 50% off if you can find it. (Union has stock)

That said, 600 psi might be too much for washing a bike.

I’m back in action after a couple thousand miles of driving, too many libations, too many cookies, and definitely too many exposures to Covid (I’m still negative and fingers crossed I stay that way). Hit the road since it seems to have been more than a little damp while I was away.

Flatted for the second week in a row, pulled a lot of glass out of the tire. Tread is worn down, plenty of big chunks out. Ordered three new Schwalbe marathon plus tires. Never clean and dry when I flat. What a PIA. Tomorrow is final miles for the year
