Flatted for the second week in a row, pulled a lot of glass out of the tire. Tread is worn down, plenty of big chunks out. Ordered three new Schwalbe marathon plus tires. Never clean and dry when I flat. What a PIA. Tomorrow is final miles for the year
But if you’re not then you have more time to ride.oof...i feel like there should be flat absolution if you are commuting to work!

I always start strong and fizzle by February. 😬
Anyone other than myself feel that ur too old for beat rubbah?
what tires are you using exactly? also, are you running tubes or tubeless? i've got tubeless terravail cannonball's on my commuter (they are basically durable casing gravel tires) and they've held up great! that said, i haven't done nearly as much crazy urban commuting as you have!Pre-COVID the upside of biking to work was to get the ride in with only a 30% penalty over the time to drive to work. Now the alternate to biking to work is ten seconds to stroll into the home office. Gonna be tough next week when it gets cold and the workday starts nice and early again. 😢

Anyone other than myself feel that commuter tires eventually lose their flat-deflecting powers when they are very worn? For sure that has been my experience, not sure if the kevlar belt weave opens up or there is so much shit that has worked its way into the tire ( tiny pieces of wire, staples, glass etc ) that it pushes through eventually
All your rides should include a weather report just to rub it in12/31
