I almost didn’t get out for this one which would have been a shame considering how mild it is outside right now. My ambition was low as I slept like absolute garbage last night and was up early for work this morning. The picture of the little tree engulfing the bike lane is on Hoes Ln heading north towards the RU golf course. You’d think RU could do a better job selecting trees considering the use case.

This aau basketball almost caused me not to hit my mandated 10h a week!! Kids!!

Kept it capped at 130bpm which keeps me in LT2. Lovely 40miler

i'm taking a few days off the bike to nurse some minor tendonitis in my right wrist...

i was still able to make it out into the woods on foot tho! even though it doesn't count for BIYF i figured i'd share some pics...

after 1.25 inches of rain the trails were a sloppy mess. perfect day to do some trash pick up and trail marking....
hoping for more than the forecast 1/2 inch of snow here in central NJ!

we're going to need a few more bags!

Yup, thanks.

Rolling along stopped cars and someone from the other side quickly cut across. We saw each other when approx four feet apart, both veered away and smashed the brakes on. Unfortunately for me the back wheel came off the ground up and over. One of the lightest landings I’ve ever had, rolled back onto my feet and the bike was upside down on the bars and seat. Very happy to not fallen directly in front of car nor landed on his new looking hood…

All the stopped cars folks looked like they were getting ready to call 911 before i gave the thumbs-up. 😬
