Biggest loser

Exactly! I remember my ideal weight was 157 back in 2010 or 2011. I think I even saw 149 for a day or so. Now that’s absolutely nuts!

Wow. Your race shape coming off the knee (was it a knee?) had you looking trim, maybe 2015?

Down 11.5 lbs so far but Hit a plateau the scale has been stuck for the past 4 days. Pants that could barely close now require a belt to keep up so that's awesome. Need to mix it up exercise wise and crank up the intensity. I bought a cheap magnetic trainer and started adding the in. Diet has been going great still haven't broke from that at all.
Yeah me too, hit a plateau. Keeping to my calorie limit, not cheating and scale not moving. Not going crazy enough to watch hydration or sodium intake, both are high whether good or bad. just gonna keep it up and wait for my body to stop being a pia and to give me my results!

I lowered my ftp to 150 and ran this one. My heart rate stayed pretty consistent except for when I stood for a bit to relieve the saddle pressure(I'm finding much worse with lower power efforts). Then my speed and cadence sensor froze so I had to reset and rewind. More sensor issues lately, not quite sure why when everything worked perfectly in the past.

Anyways, this was the first time I hadn't had a coughing fit so I'm going to keep it here for a while before slowly ramping back up. No way I could handle even 6 mile in this state, I'm hoping that I can get back to somewhere near normal by spring. Frustrating.

I got back on the scale earlier this week and as expected the 3.5lbs I lost during COVID came back. But that’s what I expected since I really wasn’t eating and drinking for a week or more.

The good news is that the weight is back to pre COVID and not more. Continuing to make sure I drink more water each day and cutting way back on the leftover Xmas cookies and chocolate - damn Take5 are so good.

Today I planned some endurance spinning the goal was 1.5 hours just keeping the HR in Z2. These are good workouts for Netflix so I finished watching one movie and started a new one. Even going easy I drank 3 bottles of water and changed my jersey 60 minutes in. I had to stop 2 times just to stretch a little bit it wasn’t because of breathing thankfully. Recovery is also key I am in between sets on the foam roller as I type this. Trainer spinning almost requires more stretching due to static positioning.

This coming week hope to get some more intensity back to these spins and maybe start back with body weight sessions at least once. Might try the speed rope later next week too for some off the bike HR work.
