I need some help. I was invited to a bourbon tasting party. I have no knowledge of liquor. I need to bring a bottle to share. The rule is $50-$150 only. I have no problem spending the money but dont want to show up with garbage. I've been looking at Angels Envy, 1798(?) 4 Roses Special Blend and pretty much anything else in the aisle. I need some solid suggestions, thanks!

Have a look at Elijah Craigh 18, I think at most places it sells for way over $200, but this place looks like it goes for $140

However you can get plenty of great bourbon for around $50-$80.
Are there any good liqueur stores around you? if there is a good one that knows what they are talking about you might get a couple of good recommendations from them.

Can't go wrong with Angels Envy, Elijah Craig, etc. Scrolling through above posts should help pick something. I see many choices posted I've not had.

I'm not a bourbon aficionado, but when I pretend to be I like Angel's Envy. Elijah is good to, but I like AE better.

My go to of late has been Knob Creek. It's a Jim Beam label, and the 9 year old or 12 year old are both solid choices. The 4 Roses single barrel or

The Balvenie 12yr has really gone up in price around me. Used to be around $60, now close to $75. It's so good too
