Any scotch/whisky drinkers in here?

Still collecting rare bottles, 'El Pasador de Oro XO' ...sorry this is not whiskey but some fine Guatemalan Rum aged in Oak barrels in the quiet highlands of Guatemala for 16 years, then exported to France to be aged for another six months in Cognac barrels to finally be a finished product and bottled... Kind of a rollercoaster but definitely looking forward to see the taste this will bring IMG_20220703_200832704.jpg

Went to a berbin/cigar dinner at Buck Hill Brewery the other night with mr and Mrs @jdgang
Whiskeys were 4 Woodford variants- berbin, rye, malt and wheat?

Got a nice personalized etched Woodford glass in the deal.
Food was great, beer was okay, cigars were Cubans and would definitely do it again.
Look for it again in the spring.

Raffle stuffs- landed a gift certificate, would have liked to land a bottle, but can’t complain

When you finish off a bottle of Elijah Craig last night, and you say to your wife, I think it's scotch season now. Then you go to the store today and the scotch you wanted to get is $65, and this is in the same aisle for $48.99. Looking forward to opening soon.
