Don't troll the new guy.....stick to beating on Yngwie
-----
I suspect the conditions will be highly variable. Good wind today to dry things out.
Be ready to bail if it is muddy.
After receiving 1.25" of rain in the last 48hrs early Sunday morning might be a better bet as it looks like it will get below freezing tomorrow night. What are the chances of being able to ride Six Mile tomorrow morning? Trying to decide as I will be in the area
Don’t forget to bring your dog, unleashed of course. Fido needs to shred too.If you bring your downhill bike, full face helmet, and Bluetooth Speaker...it'll be fine.
Round valleyWhats RV?
No good today; it’s way too warm and it rained last night. Wait until it freezes again. Or late May - whatever comes first. Is it still no good to ride during the day today? Only when frozen?
What’s the smallest size Silky you could get away with to clear trees that size; 150? I’d like to have one in my pack for emergencies. Was as good as it gets early this am. Steady overnight temps into the 20s and overcast at dawn worked their magic as expected.
Did blue, white and red up until the concrete bridge.
Two trees down on blue both within a mile after the steel bridge.

Was kicking myself for not bringing my Silky. Would’ve made short work of both.

Lube up before attempting this infamous ride.

Concrete bridge is starting to clog up again. Will need to pay a visit soon... maybe on a warmer day.

I only have a big boy. It is marginally heavier than their mid size folding saw but can tackle some pretty thick trunks. Only weighs a pound and a few ounces and still fits easily in a backpack. What’s the smallest size Silky you could get away with to clear trees that size; 150? Thanks. Hopeful it’ll fit in my current pack. Seems like there will def be some weak ash trees coming down all over the trails. 😕
I went with the Gomboy just to keep it a bit smaller.I only have a big boy. It is marginally heavier than their mid size folding saw but can tackle some pretty thick trunks. Only weighs a pound and a few ounces and still fits easily in a backpack.
