6 Mile Run Conditions

Place was pretty empty when I was there from 7 to 9ish.

Inadvertently stumbled on some new trail being blazed near Middlebush on the 27 side of red. Looking good so far.

Saw this little tree that was making visitors burn a new desire path around it on blue near the big wooden bridge.

Cleared it out with my Silky. Fucker was heavy.

Bigger tree down on red close to the 27 lot. Ran out of time to take care of it on my own. Unlike the other, this one is easily hoppable, on the left side that is.

New trail work near the 27 lot rides so much better than the rooty, off camber surface that was there before. Much appreciated.

Was out before 930 when surfaces were starting to get greasy again. It must be a total shit show by now.

Trails were great first thing this morning but by about 11 things really started to soften up in the exposed areas and my bike didn’t appreciate it.

The tubes on the concrete bridge were clogged again. Cleared them out as best I could but there is a big tree in the water before the bridge which is blocking things. Will probably need to get in there when things warm up to get the big logs in front of the tubes.

Ah, you were the one I ran into this morning. Kudos on the cleaning you got done.👍

Snashsters summed it up well.

Damp in some places this am but mostly dry to sticky. Only a few low spots on blue were peanut buttery.

Also, there is a small tree blocking white. Didn’t have my Silky and it is a hanger so will let our more skilled woodsmen tackle this one.

Tree on the concrete bridge is a big fucker.

There is also a log blocking the pipes. Water level is notably higher on the upstream side and muddying up the bank.

How the heck did that tree even fall on the concrete bridge? Did it fall from the bank, landed on the bridge and rolled towards the middle of it?
