2022 31/31 Ride daily for bragging rights and a reward. TM / Jorba / MtbNJ /

26/31
As others have mentioned the real challenge is maintaining family, life, sleep, bike and work balance.

Out the garage to a casual six mile reverse ride.

Unlike @Norm , I'm embracing the 1:0X rides as the only way I'm staying in this thing. 😁 Today was great, I was inside at work all day today and when I got on the bike I was like " Wait it's not hot as hell and already sweating like a pig before I even start". Had to get back home so short legal. I'm sure I'll be the "winner" of the shortest total ride time if I can hold on and finish this thing.

Totally understand and appreciate it. As someone who has gone off the deep end in the past and ridden 200+ days in a row, I want to make sure I ride more than 31 hours and 31 minutes in July. But I realize that not everyone is in the same boat as me.

At this stage of the game, how can you not make it?

@clarkenstein - when all is said and done, can you tell us who has the most time and the least time of the people who finished 31? I want to see if Tim wins the General George Armstrong Custer Award.

Norm I just noticed that the total ride time is already in the spreadsheet. Page all the way to the right. I would expect no less from @clarkenstein . As expected I'm in first (last) place. 😬

July 26 part 2

Baby, I was scared and hurt and I said some things I didn't mean; please take me back, I've changed.

I would like to formally rescind my resignation.

As I'm sitting here typing, my lower back hurts like a bitch, but it really didn't bother me on the bike that much (beyond a little sore feeling with every pedal rotation). I honestly assumed I wouldn't be able to stay on the saddle for more than a few minutes, but it was ok.

@Frank, you inspire by example, thank you.

@clarkenstein, thanks for the opportunity to finish up late; I did skate out of work a little early to try to be on the road before midnight.
