Wanted to try to make the 6 mile ride tonight, but home a little late. Didn’t do as good a job as yesterday pre-hydrating, but breeze was nice and didn’t feel as hot,
Went out with no real direction or plan. Rolled down to the towpath, dipped quick into 6 mile, rolled along the towpath and canal road before heading home.
Surprised to see this snapper hanging next to the towpath.

Got ready to ride twice today, walked right back inside. Went out when the sun started to set, it was pretty hot, but not all-together hellish.

Skipped riding yesterday it was my middle sons 20th bday and he had some friends over for BBQ and swimming. I was in charge of the grill and went swimming after that while they all ate burgers.
Today was my last official day at my current (now former ) job so what better to do then to wake up late and go out in this heat to ride 30 miles.
Met up with the WFH crew and one extra and we did one of our usual loops. It was waaay too hot but we slogged through. Since I had no time limit I decided to ride some extra. Lucky for me my garmin battery died after the hour plus time but then I turned on my phone to record the extra.
The post ride swim was incredible.
See if you can guess the joke from my ride title. Added part 2 pic in case we are counting hours ridden towards bonus prizes.

I attempted a first time install of a Cush core starting at 9:30 last night and couldn’t do the 10 min install so called it a roadie day today.
