Day 11: Red White (Black) & Blue

Hi. My name is Norm. I'm not in Vermont riding my bike. I am, however, stuck in New Jersey with these 2 clowns.

I don't have a lot of fancy words to describe the day nor the ride today. I was tired. Work was kind of a drag. The ride was fine, but slow. At one point on blue I took my right hand off the bar and I clipped the left side of the bar on a small tree and I fell over. That kind of hurt.

I guess that was kind of how my day went. But it wasn't so bad. I got to ride my bike.

11/31 Couldn't make up my mind where I wanted to ride today. Decided to head down to Allaire for a solo ride and then join up with team EPS for their Monday night ride. Didn't get out of work quite as early as I thought I would but still managed to get a little solo session in beforehand. Took an obligatory Allaire dinosaurs picture for fun.

#10 Did a nice longish gravel ride out of Bedminster. Legs felt great. It was a great day to be on a bike. Afterwards, I did some recovery paddling at Round Valley. Wind made things pretty rough, but it was great to take a dip.

#11 got up to PJ and met up with Ryan. I got new axs kit on the bike and it is pretty sweet! I am pseudo off from work this week since I have a remote conference to attend. It is about enthralling as a remote medical physics conference can get... Hence the escape to Port Jervis. Ryan is really fast and ripped my legs off.
