Tell me more about stratton. Once upon a time I spent a LOT of time there and I always wondered what mtbing there would be like.

Definitely not as manicured as Killington and Burke but smoother than Sugar Bush. Apparently, there are going to be 3 more new trails finished by the end of the summer, including a jump line. A couple of trails are still very raw, but Norm and Zac enjoyed them.

Apparently, this is the park's 4th year (started in 2019, just before COVID hit), which considering they probably had to take a hiatus for a few years, they seem serious about making it a good bike park.

Pretty sure, we'll be going back next year at the very least.

Yeah, some of those semi steep climbs feel like the road versions of the "Little Grunt" climbs/segments nearby in Stephen's State Park.

Found some flatter roads, although I couldn’t go much slower and coincidentally, this ride provided enough elevation gain to complete an Alpe d’Huez climb challenge

Looked like a Sunfish sailboat club outing of some sort on Budd Lake.

Just a chill ride to Walmart to buy some sandpaper and a paint brush. Half trail/half road. The northern 2/3 of the Coopalong Creek Trail is in fabulous shape. One could ride a gravel bike on it. The southern 1/3 of the trail pretty much no longer exists.

7/11 Ride for Mom

So I wasnt posting daily, but I did ride for the first 10 days of July...

Been a good month so far, 31hr 38min on the MTb and 246 miles...Rode pine hill, sugarbush, tunnel ridge, killington, burke and 4 days at kingdom.

Did sidewinder 18 times and even had my longest ever mtb ride on saturday with @JimN @Wrong Way Dan and @Meatball Mia

Kingdom day 4...4 idiots and the quest for 50 - Utah J.'s 52.3 mi bike ride

50+ with Jim, Mia and Dan... Hoping someone would die but we failed

Day 10 - FAIL! I tried but came up short for the day. I tried to finish my remaining 20 min around 11p after several beers (lost count); however, an intervention took place and the partying continued.
