Lift lines come and go depending on the time of day and location of lift. Nephew was at Stratton and said the only "line" was at the gondola.
Okemo received 40+ from the storm so of course it was going to be busy. Blue, Creek, etc. all got dumped so people went to ski.

People also packed the sledding spots around town.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the Hunter webcam and the lines are not typical. Maybe al the hikers that crowded the trails this summer have taken up skiing.

On a typical Tuesday at 11 am the line at Hunter is about 3 minutes.

Glad I skipped checking out Hunter in person today. Hoping the crowds might ease up after the holidays.

Worth it? Was it worth it when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??

Snow report shows they got hit pretty hard. Imagine all natural snow and woods are closed for those foreseeable future.

I'm not currently there.

Superstar and Ovation were all natural so far this horrible season anyway. Never seen Superstar in this state this point in the season. I guess they have no plans on June.I'm sure the trails they kept open will be given a new coat. Bear is supposed to open today. Early morning groomers and sharpened edges are recommended this weekend.

The resorts are in survival mode this year. They can't spend the normal amount on snow making because they can only sell a fraction of the normal tickets, plus no food and beer sales in the lodges. (and if you've ever bought a $11 Sip of Sunshine in the K1 lodge you know how lucrative beverage sales are)

Been at Killington since Saturday night and skied the past 3 days.

We tested on 12/23 and received results (negative) on 12/24 as did the other family we are with. Placed a grocery order online and picked up curbside in Rutland. Parking system has worked well, you scan in/out so you can come and go if needed. Plenty of parking. Only lift lines we've waited in were at K1 and Bubble chair (15 mins), otherwise it's ski right up. Mask wearing is being monitored at lifts and base areas with very high compliance. Didn't really use the lodges other then a quick bathroom break but they have limited assigned tables (45 mins) and grab and go food options. Packed a backpack each day and ate lunches/snacks on chairs and gondolas.

Terrain is very limited as expected but its been fun and kept our mixed experience level group together for the most part.

Here's a toast we did to Ullr and a better '21.

Was at Killington yesterday for maybe an hour. Pretty thick crowd for not so spectacular conditions. I'll give it another chance tomorrow. Hopefully they blow some more snow.
