Ironically, I just started the search in earnest for a new steed, and am glad I missed the 27.5 and Fat crazes. Perhaps I'll just wait until this E-Bike thing fades away and SS comes back into favor.

I think it was @serviceguy and I am pretty confident it is 3 sets...one for each ride!
I first built a regular 29” set with 2.3” did/dhr II, then built a 29” set wide trail compatible with 3.6 did/ dhr II and finally a 27.5”+ with high roller II 3.0”. The 29x2.6” setup is working pretty well, much better than the 29x2.3” in my opinion and visually bigger too.

Since I don’t spend a considerable part of my spare time perfecting the rule of what is considered an appropriate length for cycling socks, I have too much time to think about wheels and tire size combinations.
My parts end up into functioning and rideable bikes, somebody likes to decorate their electrical panel with them instead. Call me crazy!

Just checked my rekons on a 40mm rim measure 68.6 mm or 2.7 for you non metric types.
They are slow rolling at a place like 6 mile, but most anywhere else they just steam roll over the rocks.

If you can ride sourlands on a roadie... You're definitely cool in my book
@serviceguy recommends a 29.567 width rim to run WT tires on a HT, but only recommended for six mile. If you are riding sourlands, need a 31.245 width with a non WT tire 😵

I'm running 2.4s but they are trail kings so they run wide.
Does he have any variables for hartshorne?
Does the avg temp matter? Do I need 2 wheels sets, one for summer, one for winter?
Can the winter ones be used for 6 mile?
