27.5+ dying??

27.5+ bikes usually can take 29 wheels. I know my Hightower can do 29.
Are there ones that can't take 29?

Doesn't sway me one bit, luv the + tires and rims. Most fun bike I have ever had. My 29er just sits in the corner, maybe ride it at 6 mile.

i thought 2.6 was "wide trail"? I can't keep up with this sh!t. I'm pretty happy with 27.5x2.5 but i will say "regular" 27.5 seems to be dead, especially with even DH bikes going 29er. Was really hard for me to find a "regular" 27.5 hardtail last year.

27.5 is not dead. plenty of cutting edge 27.5 bikes out there such as the santa cruz bronson, yeti sb140, yeti sb165, etc. Plenty of people still want the smaller wheels.
27.5+ seems to be out of fashion though.

My timberjack can fit 29 wheels, I'd like to get some more time with the 27.5+ then switch to 29 to see how it changes the experience

About as dead as fat bikes.

In other words, "dead but not quite dead yet..." ...and will always have their fans.
