Hard to say. If it turns to rain, probably not. Temps are predicted to hover right around freezing through the night. I may go check it out in the AM.Do you guys think it will be ride-able this weekend ?
I'll second all of this.I think RobW's description from yesterday is a good one. I rode Hartshorne today and there were some scattered soft-ish areas, but no peanut butter mud. There were lots of walkers out, too, so you had to be careful of other trail users and sometimes use some restraint. If the weather continues to be relatively warm (especially above freezing at night), sunny, and breezy, I'd expect conditions to improve even more. Gave it a "3" on the Trail Conditions Report.
+1. Was there was well today. Completely agree with AndyJ.Yes, indeed... went to Huber Woods late yesterday afternoon and rode everything at Hartshorne Woods today, and the trails are in very good condition. There's a scattered muddy spot here and there, but very minor. A few soft, but not muddy, spots as well, but they're easily avoided. It's great to finally get back on some dirt! I rated it a 4 on the trail conditions report. While it's not absolutely perfect, it's probably a 3.7, but the conditions report is only whole number voting.
Maybe. I'm hoping for the same. Saturday's forecast is at least partly sunny and windy, which should help dry things out.If it rains today / tonight like they are calling for will Hartshorne dry out for Sunday riding based on it being in good shape already?
It is safe to say, that given what I covered yesterday and the day before that it would be fine by saturday afternoon. If it rains today / tonight like they are calling for will Hartshorne dry out for Sunday riding based on it being in good shape already?
