Today
What is today anyway? Oh yeah, SATURDAY!! Too many days off I have no idea what's going on anymore. Blah. Today me and Sean went out to hit the Canal and 6-Mile. Tyler and Joe were supposed to come as well but they both died in the face from the Roubaix ride, I think Tyler had a heart attack or something. MURDER!!
Anyway, back to today. Took the mountain bikes out again. Sean brought his cross bike, what a girl, I made him leave it behind. Good thing too, we made it about 1/2 way down the canal before we just got stuck. You couldn't pedal at all, the snow was too wet and grippy. We walked for a bit and escaped across to Canal Road on one of the pedestrian bridges.
Just for shits and giggles we rode about 10 feet into 6-Mile just to see what the trails were like. Blah. Not riding in there anytime soon. It doesn't look bad, but you don't move when you try to pedal.
We finished by doing the Rutgers "1st Bridge Loop" back into the hood. It took like 2.5 hours to ride 30 miles. Werd. Here's the file.

Tomorrow we have a pretty good group heading out to do the Roubaix loop again. Should be a good paced ride, I put the 1.8 Dry-X's on the Sola so I can keep up with the guys on the cross bikes. Pohndorf is threatening to come out so things could get real painful, real fast:getsome:
In other news. My super secret road project has another complete piece, I glued my tires up so the wheels are ready to rock!! I love to friggin' light tubulars are. Even beefy ones are lighter than any clincher set-up out there. I'm sorta excited!! Sorta. Peep the class.
Also unmentioned as of yet. Mike had some custom Sram buckles made up and I got one. I put it on one of those ECO Bontrager belts that's made from old tubes. Trendy I know. I took the buckle off that and put it on my Small Block 8 belt Julien made. Now it's more awesomer. Such a bike nerd, I know. Don't hate.
