27 side: red

wow, no orange twisties!

thanks Alex. I'll be hitting it tomorrow morning. not trying to compete with any of you folks for sure, just setting some goals for myself.

Six Mile Run is the name of the stream that runs through the park. The trails are marked well. Visit the trail directory and print yourself a copy of the map. You'll have better luck finding a guide if you post a new thread in the rides board. Good luck, I'd offer but my Sunday schedule is still up in the air

Thanks for the info. I'll just gonna show up Sunday morning and see what's up. I am sure there will be someone there.

By the way, where do i park my car?

If you're coming from NB near the Rutgers campus, get on Rt 27, aka French Street, and head south. Once you hit Rolling Hills Drive on the right, be on the lookout for park signs (brown I think) on the right. The lot is right next to a huge soccer field.

Best thing to do really, look at these gps maps these guys are posting here. Switch it to hybrid, and zoom in to their start point.

I think this is a slight improvement on my other time by your method 😛. I actually crashed on the way out. Kinda sucked.

Edit: Nevermind. I'm an idiot.

Time: 01:23:10
Moving Time: 01:22:54
Elapsed Time: 01:24:34
Avg Speed: 10.7 mph
Avg Moving Speed: 10.7 mph
Max Speed: 24.0 mph

There is no longer such a thing as a "nice easy ride at 6 mile". thanks

i think the whole point of that place is to hammer...

there isn't any scenery, there aren't any techincal sections....

once you can finish the whole loop the only progression is getting your PR lower

Come on. Think Ferris Bueller
What the hell is PR anyway?:hmmm:

Or you can forget all this/that and JUST RIDE! Any time I get on the bike now makes me happy. I just got back from a twirl around the block. No agenda. Just cruised into a few developments and checked out a street car show. Made me 100x happier.

I'll leave your current time unless you want this time 🙂

No there isn't a nice easy ride anymore.

Next we will have the Snow TT, where I will drop the King (again) 😀

Where's the CR TT??

Where's the CR TT??

I was beat yesterday after Sundays Bfat tour. And was going to take it easy at 6mile. So much for that.
I may have to bag the Thursday ride the week and hammer out a good time at the rock. I'm still trying to decide how long / what loop I should do.
I'm open to suggestions...
