Six Mile Time Trial Throwdown - Beat My Time

Yeah, I mean my total stopped moving time could be around 1 minute, but I can deal with my elapsed time counting :getsome:

Another question, who's times are on a singlespeed? I see peoples max speeds at 23/24mph, when I only hit 17 on my loop 🙁

Kush, he is really just that fast at 6miles. We joke about it all the time cause its the only place he's fast. Put Pearl in the twisties and he's out...put him on a climb and he pukes. Hahahaha.

Give him extra credit cause his ears were probably ringing the whole time from the mild profanities you were screaming about him when you passed our group and asked how far ahead of you he was.... 😀

Mandi said she doesn't want to compete in this because she doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings.

Was held up by an older couple riding ahead me and lost about 30 seconds. Ran out of water on the way back by the new big bridge and rode like a zombie the rest of the twisties.

Hey Dictatorsaurus! Welcome to the fray. Nice work, you're in the Top 10 🙂

Lou - go fasterer!!

woohoo I made it! 🙂

I'm pretty slow at the twisties and try to over compensate at the straights and open fields.

To me 6Mile is mostly about cornering and handling skills which I lack!

to throw up a monster time you would need that kind of gearing, i was spinning like a bitch.

6 mile?

Hey NJ mtb,

I'll be in NJ July 30 and will try to hit some trails. I will be staying in New Brunswick area and this trail seem close by. From the thread, this trail is like 14 mile long, why do they call it 6mile trail?

Are there a lot of turn off/intersection where i can easily get lost?
Anyone riding Sunday morning that is willing to show me around?

Thanks

Six Mile Run is the name of the stream that runs through the park. The trails are marked well. Visit the trail directory and print yourself a copy of the map. You'll have better luck finding a guide if you post a new thread in the rides board. Good luck, I'd offer but my Sunday schedule is still up in the air

Correct me if I'm wrong...

red>white>red>blue>red>orange>red

is this the right order for this loop?

and when starting the blue, do I start at the trail head nearest to the lot, or do I cut through the park services area?
