Hey @chainsawerTracking but it might be a few days till I can get to it.
Very interesting! I knew that product existed. I'd really love to demo one to see its pros and cons. It's a bit of an expensive experiment though. It could be a total game changer.Hey @chainsawer

Is this interesting to you?? Might want to help you get one if you think it would help in you efforts??
Make your pack on your back significantly lighter, and eliminate you hitting the bar when passing under low trees, branches, etc.---Not that I've ever seen that happen to you!!😀Very interesting! This is the perfect example of "System Engineering". Something like this can fix 2 problems and create 4 new ones. Or could be a total gamechanger and make me annoyed that I suffered so long with the old backpack system. LOL. I just have to try it to see how it goes. But at $200, I'd hate for it to NOT work out.Make your pack on your back significantly lighter, and eliminate you hitting the bar when passing under low trees, branches, etc.---Not that I've ever seen that happen to you!!😀

hitting the bar when passing under low trees
putting 20+lbs on the fork in a stationary position...
That’s enough interest for me. I’m buying you one.Very interesting! I knew that product existed. I'd really love to demo one to see its pros and cons. It's a bit of an expensive experiment though. It could be a total game changer.
You're amazing!! Thanks!!! (18" bar compatible). That’s enough interest for me. I’m buying you one.
Now you just need deployable bush whacking blades on the fork! 😂Installed! The blocks that interface with the handlebars aren't a very good fit, but the rubber strap seems to make that not matter much. I was happy to see that the entire mount can be removed fairly easily and quickly if I wanted to go for a regular fun ride. Like <2 minutes. Basically it'd take the unstrapping of the two rubber straps at the handlebar blocks, and the unscrewing of one very easily accessible bolt right on the front.
Next step will be to ride with it, but I've got a medical issue that's grounding me right now. Stay tuned.

I wanted to keep folks abreast of my current medical situation, and why I’m on a temporary hiatus from Chainsawing. About 3 weeks ago, I got hit with unexplained Vertigo, which simply hasn’t gone away! Medical care is well underway, but still no improvement after all this time. At least stroke/coronary issues have been ruled out. All seems to be related to the vestibular canal (inner ear), which controls your balance. I’m getting on pretty well with daily life tasks, but the constant imbalance thing poses certain limitations. One of which is the obvious: Riding a Mt E-bike with chainsawing equipment on any sort of mildly technical trails is practically impossible! While I have higher confidence with the chainsawing part (w/3 points of contact to the ground), it’s better that I should give it a rest till I'm in better shape.
Anyway, I wanted to mention it so you know why I’m not on top of all the new issues. I’ll report back with status changes. In the meantime, please do whatever else you can to keep the trails clear.
