After taking off yesterday for my anniversary and eating and drinking all kinds of stuff I needed a good ride today to burn all that off.

Lucky the weatherman was wrong and all the roads were dry and sunny skies this morning. Left a little early to meet the shop ride so I could round up to 50 miles but still be home by 10am cause I got shit to do around here.

I’m back. My bad. Had some knee issues and decided to take a few days off before it takes me out completely. @clarkenstein you can move me out of the 31 to the 20, please sir.

We had a big storm here last night and I had an epic slam trying to dodge some blow down at max speed. As usual, crashing left a huge smile on my face. The trails down here get pretty boring. I needed that.

Day 9: Finishing up some last Saturday Sends

I will admit that I am getting tired. After 10 straight days on the mountain bike with some huge hits this past week, I am starting to feel it. While it is a sad thing to see the house break up, my legs are going to be happy that I am not asking so much of them soon enough. We started the day with 20 in the house. Before we even left for the ride, 7 of them were going directly home. Well, 5 people were going to Thunder for a pit stop on their way home, and 2 were going right home. That pared our number to 13, plus the 2 friends, less 1 who went solo today. The ride started with 14.

We hit the Black Bear stuff 1 last time, then rode over to Farm Junk & Sky Dive. By now we were at 11, but 1 sheared off once we came up on Farm Junk, etc, That brought our group down to 10 for the ride, which is where we ended. Of the 13+2 left, 5 hit the road after the ride so we are down to 9+1. 9 of us in the house tonight plus 1 friendly staying in a camp local. Tomorrow we pack up and hit the road.

We have 1 more night of half-team gathering to get in, which will be more chill than usual as we are half the number. It'll still be enjoyable just more quiet.
