Day 4 (20) done

July 6
Day 3 of 20

Today was a very happy day in the life of Sherry!! I have a trip to Whistler planned in 2.5 weeks and a trip to Colorado planned 2 weeks after that. And I can't lift the front wheel of my bike! Ever since Memorial Day all I can do is pedal, no bending of my left arm. I'm not sure if the anxiety or the pain has been more upsetting 😢

I finally had an orthopedic appointment today and the doc injected my arm up full of steroids so that I could at least get through Whistler with minimal pain, thank you Dr. D!!

The Pivot is still in the shop, so I took the SIR9 into Weldon WMA for a quick spin. Man I love that bike. Maybe muscle memory, but I feel more comfortable in the rough, rigid than I do on the T429. Thinking of adding a dropper and perhaps convert back to SS and it may move back to my main ride.

Bear, turtle and Jerry. Plenty of wildlife in the WMA.

My 2 main rides are a rigid IndyFab Steel Deluxe SS and a T429 v3. Not even close to the same geometry between the 2. But very comfortable riding the rough stuff on both. I've considered adding an external dropper to the SS. I had cable guides put on when it was built in case I ever wanted to put gears on it.

Had to get it in early today. The rain was pleasantly cool after yesterday's sweat fest. Took it very easy on the legs in hopes of putting in a solid ride in the next next day or two.

Can I pre-mulligan? (not that I plan on using it) Did some trimming back after this ride. Getting cut up by thorns for an hour really motivates me.

Also curious about the rules pertaining to a pre-mulligan. Planning to join the trail maintenance at Clayton next Wednesday and will be slipping in my ride beforehand either way. Not that I intend on using the mulligan but it would sure be nice to have it in my back pocket when my other half decides she's had enough of this riding everyday thing.

@jdog - what do you think of preloading TM?
