Manny - thanks, I saw the post. I also placed a post on the Appalachian Bear Rescue asking if they can direct me to a local resource for help. I've also contacted the Woodlands Wildlife Resource since they're NJ based and claim to help injured/orphaned bears.

Did you happen to see or hear the mama? If the young cub was abandoned, its prospects will not be good. I'm really concerned about this little bugger

Thanks Jesse... I didn't see the cub’s mom that day. However, the following day I saw a huge bear by the fence on Boon. I'm not good a distinguishing the sex so I couldn't tell you if it was the dad or mom.
