wILLIAMS LAKE RESULTS ?

They took forever with the results again? Great venue, but last year sport results took atleast 2 or 3 hours.

dreadful last year, you would have figured they would have gotten that fixed. You must feel proud of yourself for your hard work last week...
 
i vow never comeback here again.and i'm glad i did.
(last year they didn't even have my name on the results list..imagine, my hard work/time/money for nothing)

That's too bad. Yes, I come to race, so I will be pushed farther than I could be on my own. Fast results would really be nice. I didn't stay for them, so I don't know what they are. But ultimately, it is about riding with a few hundred of your closest friends on groomed and buffed trails, and the venue and the lake afterwards makes it all worth it! Slow results will not keep me away. I just learned from the past not to wait.

The lake was perfect yesterday! And my daughter had a great time splashing around too. I wish we had brought our BBQ, bathing suits, and cracked open some tailgating. Especially when we reached the Mid-Hudson bridge on the way home to find it closed and turned away. Argh! Next time...

My one disappointment was the number of laps for men vs. women. The rumor was a "typo", but Cat 2 women ended up doing reduced laps anyway. Hope they fix the typo for next time.
 
Any of the NYS races I've done have taken forever for results. In the realm of 4 hours for the Woodstock ATB Challenge.
Funny thing is I don't mind waiting around up there, the hangaround is about as much fun as the race.

Awww, Pixy, if that an invitation to sweep waaayyyy behind you? That's so sweet! 🙂 I would have if I could for just one race. Guess I'm not brave enough for the world of hurt that comes with every race after that.

Few things burn the promoters more than someone who did not stay to get his results and then complains about how long it takes to get them on-line later. If you want them that bad...you stay!

I realize you stated that you had to leave. That should not be the promoters problem.

How long should you have to stay and wait? 3 hours after your race and then only get the top 3 finishers. In this case the promoters burned them selves. As I am sure you have read the posts here, this is not the first time, for untimely results. They need to get there sh*t together.

Ditto we waited for 4+ hours last year and only to have the results all wrong. Not only that but had hired usc scorekeeper which was overwhelmed...
 
Hi - anyone ever come accross results or pics from this race? I was also in the "had to move on with my day" camp and left before results were posted.

FYI... I have been looking here as it seems this would be the logical place but nothing yet...

Maybe we all should post our own time and category, and we can piece the results together ourselves. Cat 2 30-39. 1:43 adjusted 1:45 not. Lol!!
