What have you done to your bike today?

Refurbished a nice Stumperjumper today, when they priced it for $150, I almost bought it

Call me old skool, but I’ll always be a Potts mod man

Not mine, though I still have a DK freestyle stem in the parts bin with a Potts mod.
I have one of those DK freestyle stems around, the platform that mounted on it too. They’re rare and worth a bit of coin now.

Remember that the cable ran through a hole in the side but wasn’t as efficient as the straight Potts mod.

Mine has an aftermarket Potts mod bolt.
Sadly I don’t have the original stem bolt, otherwise it would be worth all that coin.

Even missing the original bolt and more they’re still highly desired and sell quick. Just the stem cap, platform and a cracked quill sold in less than 15 minutes for $300. More complete ones go for $450-700 easily and usually have reproduced platforms.

Changed the batteries in my Sram shifters. They lasted 2 years. 🤠
You said batteries and shifters (plurals). Did you mean you changed both batteries, one in the shifter and one in the derailleur or do you have multiple bikes with SRAM AXS and you changed all of them? Also, what prompted you to change them? Did they die on you in the middle of a ride or did you check the battery level on the SRAM App and saw that they were low? Or is it a yearly routine or preventive measure? Only one of my bikes has AXS and I don't check the battery levels as often as I should so I keep a spare shifter and derailleur battery in my hydration pack as back up.

I presume it’s his drop bar bike.

Usually when I put the derailleur batteries in I'll give a shift to wake it all up and once in a while I'll fire up the app to check battery life overall. Today there was no shifting and the LED were blinking red on the shifters.

Road bike has 2 shifters

Good to know my new to me gravel bike is 1x but has sram shifters and wireless axs rear der so both shifters each have a 2032 battery I think.
I’ve got the app all set up to check the rear rechargeable battery and also check the shifter status too.
