What have you done to your bike today?

New rubber, better rotors and some frame protection...

Replaced my Aluminum gravel bike.
$1200 off and they had my size.
Shipped directly to Halters for free.
Sram Axs X2
First wireless bike
I have the SuperSixEvo X. Same frame just 1x and not wireless. Great bike you should love it.

Finally figured out the leaky tape job on the Fugitive primary wheelset…I wanted to use regular electrician tape as a first layer of tape to prevent having to double tape using the expensive DT Swiss rim tape…rear wheel held air without sealant for several days, front wheel…not so much. Turns out I stretched the electrical tape too much and when I cut the valve hole it wrinkled under the proper rim tape and prevented the valve to seal. Had to tape the wheel 3 times before I figured this out, so much for savings…

Then the rear got cushcore, they both got sealant and they ready to roll.

No pictures because…it’s two wheels with tires!

Confirmed the cushcore job is not hard at all (at least with my 29” DT E532 and DHR II EXO+ tire), just keep pushing the bead as close to the rim bed as possible. I had to buy the CC tool because…me, but any good tire lever will do.

Started the process of tearing down the new bike and adding the parts I wanted. Still waiting on a few more (tomorrow), along with a crank puller that I thought I had but didn't (hopefully tomorrow as well).

If that's "powerspline", it's the same puller as square taper. If it's ISIS (I don't think there's any current SRAM production using ISIS?), you need just stack a couple of dimes in there, in a pinch.

Dunno how dusty your work area is, but you can flip a larger re-useable shopping bag over the truing stand to keep it clean. Bonus for a drawstring.

It is, and I only have a crank bolt wrench, thought it was a puller for some reason.

It's not particularly dusty, and honestly I'd rather find another home for it, but I will take you up on the tip you offered either way. Think I even have a blue bag laying around lol.

Dork Alert!

Updated the firmware in the AXS derailleur and shifter.
Found out that they are not updating the eTap firmware on the roadie, and they are pretending it can't be done.
- cause i know they used to have an app to do it.

Finished building up the new rig and took it for a spin. It's everything I was hoping it would be.

Swapped out stock for the following:
Roval Terra C wheels
Roval Terra seatpost
Power Mimic saddle
GRX 810 crank
XT deraiileur
SLX shifter
SLX cassette
Deity Blacklabel bar
Deity Supracush grips
Deity Black Kat pedals
Zipp Service Course stem
Schwalbe G One RS tires

I kept the brakes for now, they're decent enough. But I will probably upgrade them to SLX sooner than later.

If anyone is looking to build up a similar build, all you need is a frame and brakes, I have the rest. Hit me up if interested.

Notice any difference? I updated the firmware on my AXS also and didn't notice a bit of difference. To dork out even more I also updated the software on my ebike and I didn't notice any difference there either. Both were on the same bike. Two updates, one bike, no difference. I wish they would say what the updates fix, improves, and/or changes.

Haven't ridden it yet!
This is my first update. Did they add 11sp compatibility? Maybe battery life? Communication with bike computer?

Yes it would be nice to know.

Please remove this post if it's not appropriate for the thread:

Has anyone converted a 29" bike to 27.5? If yes, what were the drawbacks of doing that without changing all the components other than the wheels?
