What did you break, puncture, bend, dent or otherwise ruin this week?

Went to dismount on a climb, got my shorts caught on my seat, landed on my ass. It's cracked.

beats getting punctured 😀

This @ HPCX... (but not actually broken so all good and was able to finish race)

My frame is now scratched though 🙁

Ack. Heal up. How did that happen?

Tempting the tire gods here but I raced 2x this weekend on a Challenge Team tubular I flatted and fixed with Stans earlier this year. Still holding air!

What else broke at HPCX?

9 races on the same wheels/tires I finally punctured a toobie. I threw in Orange Seal at the start of the season and has served me well to this point. It sealed up, but not before losing half it's volume :/

I'm just going to add a little more and hope for the best.

Imprint of a shimano brake lever and shifter on my right leg after stuffing the front wheel in a LEAF hidden hole @ sourlands "dish plate" trail.

Didn't notice until I took a shower good thing for elbow pads, landed with the right elbow on a rock. Shoulder took a hit elbow all good.

Broken parts from the weekend include a flat rear tubular, and a possibly* destroyed derailleur/shifter. Whatever happened, I haven't been able to bring myself to actually check whats wrong with it, all I know is that I rode Sunday as an accidental single speed!

After I ate shit in the sand pit my shifter was toast. I had to stop to get all the granules out in order to salvage some shifting... I could shift up but the spring wouldn't reset to dump the gear so I had to pull the lever to shift down. Hopefully it's just something stupid like that.

Seems like that might be part of it. There's going to be a lot of smacking/shaking to try and free that thing up.

Few years ago I was on a ride and someone calls out at a regrouping asking if anyone lost their keys. I was hardly paying attention as my keys were safely tucked away in my bag. I looked anyway and my bag was clearly zipped up and closed. Big problem was the stitching came apart and the whole back of the bag opened up.

The only thing (luckily) found on the trail was my keys which I'm OK with.

Flatted my front tubular on Saturday at Whirlybird CX. I think it had a slow leak since pre-rides because it was feeling a little strange, but I put 40 psi in and it seemed to hold for an hour before the race so I wrote the "weird" feelings off. in hindsight I should have borrowed a wheel. I got two laps in hanging on to the lead group and it just totally let go. so being without pit wheels I walked to the pit slowly just to let the officials know I was dropping out. However, to my surprise, Evan Murphy was standing in the pit heckling me. he didn't want me to DNF so he lent me his bike and I was able to finish the race! it was a great experience, and he is my new favorite pro!

Finally flatted my front tubular at Marty's. Ran over a yellow stake coming out of the first S at the bottom of the opening downhill lap 3. This must have been the culprit, then the tire rolled over on itself on a sweeping turn about a minute later. Meh.

On an absolutely totally unrelated note, I destroyed several stakes at the cross venue yesterday, 1 that was possibly yellow and coming out of the first S at the bottom of the opening downhill. Maybe.
