What did you break, puncture, bend, dent or otherwise ruin this week?

Busted a front wheel spoke at the start of my commute today. Wobbles did not really start for another 30 miles. I already had zero back brakes and the front cantilever brakes were a mess when full-wooble set in.

A little scotch tape to avoid spoke flailing...

Ha, strange....why is it always the left nut! I mashed mine today too.

It may have something to do with which side you are dominant... Most people are right handed, footed, nut'ed? - so left is less coordinated. When it comes time to bust one, I guess the less coordinated side is more vulnerable and more likely to take the shot.

The theory doesn't apply to me in this case because i'm lefty.

My nutty logic - this should be a question for @pooriggy

On lap 2?
Broken der hanger courtesy of someone's front wheel

someone overcooked an inside line and t-boned me....at least i was passing people at the time.

Doh! hopefully just the hanger?

Because HippoCX was so bumpy I tried to go plaid with tire pressure (well below 20psi) and ended up pinch flatting a rear somewhere out there. Orange Seal to the rescue!?!

My right knee. I seem to have broken my right knee. Pain in a way I have not had for years there.

Just the hangar - all fixed up and ready to get busted again!

It held but I have tested it in a real race scenario. I used my heavy wheels and super knobs for this past weekend cause I didn't know if the conditions would be a slop fest and the fangos would hold up. Turned out the conditions at both events were superb and fangos would been perfect. Oh well - the verdict is still out.

Cracked a china carbon rim at providence this weekend. Funny because on Friday I was thinking I should leave feedback for them because they've held up pretty well and I didn't destroy them at gloucester. sigh.
